MALOLOS CITY, Jan.25 (PIA) -- About 100 micro enterprises in Bulacan benefitted from the Livelihood Seeding Program-Negosyo Serbisyo sa Barangay (LSP-NSB) of Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).
DTI Provincial Director Edna Dizon said each microenterprise got kits worth PhP5,000.
Recipients are from barangays Iba O'Este and Pio Cruzcosa in Calumpit; Longos in Malolos City; Binagbag in Angat; Bigte in Norzagaray; Malis in Guiguinto; Saluysoy in Meycauayan City; Paradise III, San Isidro and Tungkong Mangga in San Jose Del Monte City.
Also, Bagong Nayon in Baliwag; Bagong Barrio in Pandi; Caingin and Tambubong in San Rafael; Balasing in Santa Maria; Penabatan in Pulilan; Bulihan in Plaridel; Poblacion, Bustos; and Lambakin and Patubig in Marilao.
"LSP-NSB seeks to bring our services closer to the people so that we can identify and provide opportunities that will initiate economic recovery," the official explained.
Apart from the kits, DTI provided other services to the micro enterprises including facilitation of business name registration, business advisory, business information and advocacy. (CLJD/VFC-PIA 3)
