Guest CyberCEO Carter describes her experience working with Cyberbacker as 'Life changing.'
In this episode, Carter shares how each of her cyberbackers contributes to the growth of her business.
Listen to Angelo Cruz and Teresa Carter's conversation here.
Keller Williams Team Leader Teresa Carter admits that she had 'limiting beliefs' about virtual leverage before she began working with Cyberbacker. 'I was nervous about not having someone physically here,' she says.
Now that Carter has hired two cyberbackers, one who assists with marketing and one who assists with recruiting, she calls the decision to partner with the company 'business-changing.' Carter's business has had its best growth year ever, thanks to the 'top-level leverage' provided by Cyberbacker. 'The success is in the results,' she says.
As she began the hiring process, Carter knew that she was looking for two cyberbackers to fill two distinct roles in her business: marketing support for herself and her 250 agents, and recruiting. She was impressed by Cyberbacker's attention to personality matching and job-fit matching, but she especially appreciated being able to review prospective Cyberbackers' material ahead of time. When she saw now-cyberbacker Erika's resume, Carter knew she'd be a great fit. 'Her work looked exactly how we wanted it,' she says. Now, Erica helps Carter 'give agents a free marketing service.'
Carter noticed second cyberbacker John Francis' 'drive to make the calls' immediately, she says. John Francis has taken on vital tasks like setting appointments, managing databases, and learning systems, allowing Carter to focus on building client relationships.
Early on, Carter had what she calls 'expectation conversations' with her cyberbackers. 'How do I win with them, and how do they win with me?' she says. An important part of these early conversations was establishing open and frequent communication. Now she attributes her successful partnership with her cyberbackers to daily morning and evening emails, which make it 'very quick and easy' to work as a team.
'Great communication is key to this relationship,' Carter says. She also believes that frequent praise gives cyberbackers the support they need to 'excel and grow' in their respective roles. 'They are part of my team, and they love that.'
