The current trend for everything natural can be found everywhere: in clothes, makeup, cosmetics, and certainly in the art of hairdressing. Coloring techniques with distinct lines have been out of style and popularity and haven't inspired colorists or their clients for a few years now. The industry was craving a breath of fresh air, and that's exactly what airtouch technique brings to the market.
The technique has quickly gained popularity and spread across the globe from Moscow to Las Vegas to New York. Its creator, Vladimir Sarbashev, is a talented colorist and hair stylist who became a real icon among hairdressers. Vladimir's technique is not exactly simple: it demands concentration and professionalism from the colorist, and patience from the client. But the result is impressive the colored hair looks shiny and voluminous, while the multifaceted play of shades creates a natural, and yet an incredibly beautiful effect.
Vladimir Sarbashev tells us about the benefits of his technique:
Airtouch is a coloring technique where the hair is dyed pretty much into the natural hair color, while dramatically changing its look. The people around you can't even tell the hair is colored. If you use airtouch to color the hair half a tone lighter than the natural color, or whether you are just treating the greys to add some blonde shades and carefully accent the greys, the hair is transformed dramatically! One can even change a dark blonde into a light blonde, all completely imperceptibly. As the hair grows out, it will also be unnoticeable, without the need to retouch the new growth. Nowadays this type of hair coloring is most in demand as it looks soft and very natural. This technique is created for people who aim for a natural style, or a natural format. When we don't make dramatic changes, we can create very effective and expensive looking changes to a person's image that feel imperceptible at first glance.
Vladimir is the founder of Subrosa, a beauty-atelier where the know-how is the airtouch coloring technique. Click here for further informationGet a daily dose of San Francisco Star news through our daily email, its complimentary and keeps you fully up to date with world and business news as well.
